Anil Mankee, MD

Dr. Anil Mankee grew up in the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago. He attended medical school at the University of West Indies on a full scholarship awarded for nationwide secondary school examinations. After graduation from medical school, he worked for 5 years as a medical doctor in Trinidad and Tobago prior to starting an Internal Medicine residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Upon completion of his Internal medicine residency program, he was awarded the Resident of the year award. He then completed a Rheumatology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC.

Following this he returned to his homeland, Trinidad and Tobago. He practiced as a Rheumatologist attending at Eric Williams Medical Sciences Center and was on the faculty of the University of the West Indies as a clinical instructor. He then came back to the US in 2018 and joined a rheumatology practice in Indiana, PA. He moved to Pensacola, FL in 2020 and worked with the Ascension Medical Group. Dr. Mankee joined Arthritis and Rheumatology Center in November 2023 and is excited to make Atlanta his long-term home.

In his free time, he enjoys following Formula 1 racing with his wife who is also an avid Formula 1 fan, as well as table tennis, exploring walking trails in Georgia and traveling.
